The Bilbies

Babies: 14 months- 2 years

  • In the Kookaburras Room, we maintain a ratio of 4 children per educator, ensuring each baby receives the highest level of care and attention.

  • All activities in this room are designed to support babies’ first experiences, fostering a sense of wonder and discovery in a safe and nurturing environment.

  • To help babies feel happy, secure, and settled, we follow their individual routines, ensuring a comforting and familiar experience throughout the day.

  • Our dedicated educators provide gentle, responsive care, catering to each baby’s unique needs while encouraging development through a variety of sensory-rich activities and engaging experiences.

The Emu and Wallaby

Toddlers:  2 – 3 years

  • In our toddler rooms, we maintain a ratio of 5 children per educator, ensuring each child receives individual care and support.

  • We offer a variety of engaging, imaginative, and developmentally appropriate activities that stimulate creativity, curiosity, and growth. Through diverse experiences, we encourage toddlers to explore, learn, and develop essential skills.

  • As toddlers refine their physical abilities and establish their own routines, we provide a structured yet flexible environment with predictable daily activities such as mealtimes, story sessions, and nap time to create a sense of security.

  • During this stage, toddlers begin forming social connections with peers and educators. Many activities in this room focus on developing important social skills, including cooperation, turn-taking, and sharing.

  • As they start to develop a sense of self, we foster independence and confidence by providing experiences that encourage self-awareness, helping our little ones feel secure, self-assured, and ready to explore the world around them.

The Kangaroo

Pre-School: 3 – 5 years

  • In the Kangaroo Room, we maintain a ratio of 11 children per educator, ensuring each child receives the attention and guidance they need.

  • Our little preschoolers are naturally curious and eager to learn, and our educators nurture this through positive interactions and meaningful engagement.

  • We provide well-planned activities and thoughtfully selected resources that inspire children to explore, create, and take the lead in their own learning. Our goal is to equip them with essential skills for school readiness while fostering independence, confidence, and social connections.

  • We strike a balance between structured, educator-led activities—such as engaging storytime sessions—and child-initiated play, ensuring resources are easily accessible so children can follow their interests and take initiative in their learning journey.
